It is with deep sadness that we remember the life of Scott McKee, a beloved father, grandfather, and dedicated member of the Superior, Nebraska community. Born to Gordon and Lucille (Crook) McKee, Scott’s legacy is one marked by hard work, compassion, and service to others.
Scott graduated from Superior High School in 1971 and went on to build a distinguished career as a livestock order buyer, traveling across the United States and even Mexico in his line of work. His professionalism and commitment to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of many in the agricultural industry.
Beyond his career, Scott was a committed community member, giving back to those around him in meaningful ways. He served as an active member of several local organizations, including the Eagles Lodge, Lions Club, Elks Lodge, and the Superior Volunteer Fire Department. His volunteer work and willingness to help others were a testament to his generosity and dedication to his neighbors and friends.
Scott also operated a successful recycling business, which allowed him to further contribute to the community, as well as assisting with auctions and local events. His presence was felt at numerous gatherings, where he was always ready to lend a hand or offer his expertise.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and extended family, all of whom were fortunate to experience his love, guidance, and unwavering support.
Scott McKee will be remembered as a hardworking, community-minded individual who always put others first. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the values he instilled in those who knew him best.
